Managing finances

The booklet ‘Community based Early Childhood Education, Managing Finances’ is available as a download on the right of this page.

The booklet has information to help you manage your community based early childhood service’s financial and taxation obligations, to make sure your finances are managed in a safe and transparent way.

Keeping up with all the complex financial obligations associated with preparing financial accounts, payment of wages, GST and other tax matters can seem daunting. This booklet outlines what it means to manage the finances of your service.
We recommend you read this booklet alongside ‘Community based Early Childhood Education Governing and Managing’ and the ‘Early childhood education funding handbook’.
