9-7 Claiming the support grant for provisionally registered teachers
Description
The Support Grant for Provisionally Registered Teachers (PRT Support Grant) provides additional funding for teacher-led services that are required to meet the teacher registration requirements.
For the purposes of the PRT Support Grant, 'provisionally registered teachers' does not include New Zealand qualified primary teachers.
Rule
The PRT Support Grant for provisionally registered teachers can be claimed up to four times over a two year period, or until the teacher becomes fully registered – whichever comes first.

Completing the RS7
Follow these instructions to claim the PRT Support Grant for June 2011:
