New Zealand Teachers Council
It is the professional and regulatory body for teachers in English and Māori medium settings for early childhood, schools and other related education institutions. The Council aims to support the professional status of teachers and high quality teaching and learning through its mandated functions.

Education Gazette
The New Zealand Education Gazette is the official magazine of the Ministry of Education. It is published under the authority of the Minister of Education, always on a Monday, every two (occasionally three) weeks, excluding January.

Education Review Office (ERO)
The Education Review Office is a government department whose purpose is to evaluate and report publicly on the education and care of students in schools and early childhood services. ERO carries out education reviews of education institutions and services, and national evaluations of education issues. ERO’s findings inform decisions and choices made by parents, teachers, managers, trustees and others, at the individual school and early childhood level and at the national level by Government policy makers.

It is a membership organisation that represents and supports early childhood education services throughout New Zealand, as well as early childhood teacher education.

The New Zealand Playcentre Federation
